About my work

My name is Amana Ahmad, and I am an artist and educator based in Austin, Texas. My creative work includes paintings, drawings, and illustrations that capture a refreshing view of the world.

I see the world through a childlike perspective, stopping at ordinary scenes and absorbing the beauty of life as if seeing it for the very first time. My artwork aims to capture moments and experiences that prompt the viewer to participate through wonder and curiosity. I do not restrict myself to any medium or subject matter, and instead continuously explore various environments and characters.
